Que nos surzan
* Informationen auf Englisch verfügbar
We generally hide the scars left by wounds on our body, since they’re seen as flaws that take us far from the social ideal of beauty identified with a naked white body, hairless and free of scars.
However, from a symbolic perspective, wounds can also be seen as parts of what we have lived and suffered, imprinted on us and helping us reinterpret our past more freely.
Using different pieces and installations, Sandra March talks to us about our scars as parts of our own history.
