Sands Beach Resort is located right on the seafront with its own private beach and with direct access to Costa Teguise Avenue.

All the rooms are fully equipped and laid out around six plazas, each with its own swimming pool, together with an exclusive area right on the private beach – it is the only hotel in Spain with these characteristics.

As a unique feature, the hotel has a 25m heated swimming pool in one of the plazas which is approved for international competitions for swimming, water polo and synchronized swimming. At the centre of the private lagoon is the Mai Tai Restaurant, with its own heated pool. Here musical events are held. The hotel’s Terraza Lido offers wonderful sea views.

In the Restaurante La Hacienda we offer our clients a buffet breakfast and dinner with a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Once night falls, the Soleil Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a drink in good company.

This is no ordinary hotel; it is an experience focused on health and well-being, and on sports tourism. We organize the Lanzarote International Marathon, the Sailfish Lanzarote Open Water competition and the Teguise International Duathlon, with the hotel itself at the epicentre of each event. Our focus is on triathlon and running, which is why the hotel is the preferred destination for gatherings and training sessions of many professional athletes competing in these sports, as well as of amateur athletes competing in age categories.

Among our services, the entertainment programme is led by the Get Active Team, which is staffed by qualified sports instructors who teach an extensive swimming,

cycling and running programme, with one of the most popular activities being the ascent of the volcano that is close to the hotel. In addition, Buddy’s Club, a club for our youngest visitors, focuses its programme on outdoor sports and beach activities all year round.

The daily programme of activities will give you the chance to train with the professional athletes that the hotel sponsors, while children will have a great time in the children’s playground and in the pool. A gymnasium, stretching rooms and tennis court complete our wide sports offer.

We also have a rehabilitation and detoxification centre staffed with professional physiotherapists, as well as a hairdressing salon, a supermarket stocking the best brands, and a sports equipment store.
