The Lanzarote Airport Museum is located in the first passenger terminal, which operated from 1946 to 1970. These earliest facilities of the aerodrome, a real driving force of the economy and transport on the island at the time. The building structure is similar to many of the period, with the control tower being in front of the landing strip, which at the same time is surrounded by wing-shaped parallel gardens. The contents are illustrated with a wide selection of photographs and exhibits in panels and showcases, as well as models of airplanes from different eras.
