Rozalén is back on stage to present the tracks of her latest album which is number 1 on the sales chart. You can find in this album songs such as the winner of the Goya for best original song “Que no, que no.”
This album is a mix of styles from pop rock to Cuban sound, from the Mexican corrido to disco music. It is full of the optimism and the vitality of Rozalén’s songs: full of sensitivity, positivity and stories we all can relate to. “El árbol y el bosque” is nominated for the Latin Grammy’s “Mejor álbum de canción de autor” (“Best singer-songwriter album”).
As decided by the jury of the Premio Nacional de Músicas Actuales (National Award for Contemporary Music), who awarded Rozalén this year, the artist is not only one of the main voices in song-writing, but also an important social activist whose work focuses on defending minorities and disadvantaged communities in the search for equality. She offers inclusive concerts with sign language interpreters.
